Terri Perez has been a Deputy District Attorney for 25 years, and currently serves as the Chief of Narcotics. Prior to this assignment, she was the Assistant Chief in the El Cajon Branch for 4 ½ years. She worked in the Gang Prosecution Unit for several years, initially working on gang injunctions, then prosecuting general gang crimes, including murders, robberies, assaults and carjackings. She had also handled general felonies. She currently teaches classes for law enforcement, including Handling Confidential Informants, Advanced Gang Prosecution and Narcotics Investigations. She was awarded Prosecutor of the Year in 2019 by the California Narcotics Officers Organization.
You will need to sign in at the front desk. There will be a short form to fill out and you need a photo ID. You CAN download and print the form and bring with you filled out, if you like.
There is parking but there are lots of other events going on so give yourself time to find the place, find parking, and sign in at the front desk. Don’t delay!
