An avid mystery, urban fantasy, thriller/suspense, and romance reader (basically everything except horror – too scary!).  I have a degree in Microbiology from the Univ. of Kansas (go JayHawks!) and use my science background working in the biotech industry, current genetic sequencing.  I spend most of my free time reading – thankfully books never expire as I seem to be collecting more and more to read.  You can usually find me at Mysterious Galaxy perusing the shelves, attending an author or a Partners in Crime event!  Maybe I will see you there!
